I am currently reevaluating the uses of this blog. During the past year, I used it as a platform for sharing a little about what we were going through as a homeschooling family as well as sharing some of my thoughts on homeschooling itself.
This was my way of stepping gently into the blogging world. I am now considering using my blog in a different way. I have so many ideas, plans and thoughts that are started with only the best of intentions, but I often lack in my follow through. I do not want this to be one of those situations. I only want to do this if I can and will be able to follow through with the completion. This is my thought...
I had wanted to write a curriculum for homeschoolers in the past. While it is still a dream of mine, I am not sure I need to completely reinvent the wheel. I am not sure that I need to write from the beginning each and every subject. There are so very many resources out there! What I think I would like to do, however, is to create a curriculum that utilizes some of these current resources and organize them into a system that is easy to us, inexpensive to implement and maintain, and effective. I don't want to simply make a list of available resources, but to layout lesson plans and such for those who prefer to have a guideline to follow.
I would like to do this and would like to complete it. I am not writing new posts at this point, while I consider all of the requirements this will bring about and then while I begin (if I do indeed take on this project).
